One Tap with a Rubber Mallet on an Impact Driver had the bolt out
Put the Top Nut back in and place it on some wood to protect it
Then it all just slides apart
Put the piece of spring you cut off onto the Damping Rod
Reassemble In the reverse order (I have always wanted to write that;-)
